In light of Donald Trump being delcared the winner of the Divided States of AmeriKKKa (formally called the United States of America) I am sad, but remain hopeful , I am angry but remain peaceful. I encourage everyone who is angry, or afraid for their rights or afraid for the rights of a loved one, a friend, a neighbor or vaguely recognized community member to TRANSMUTE ANGER TO PEACEFUL ACTION.
We MUST continue the PEACEFUL fight for justice and equality. We have always known that we were fighting a war and that individual civil liberties won have been but skirmishes in the fight for human rights. America we are stunned, because we are privileged and largely apathetic thus far. This is also just a skirmish in the war for human rights. Much of the rest of the world has lived through this kind of tyranny at one time or another. We have the opportunity to continue to make history my marching peacefully, singing, chanting and speaking peacefully, and ceaselessly until our represtatives represent our will use all measures available to PREVENT TRUMPS INAUGURATION until ALL documents and back taxes have been made public AND criminal allegations and charges have been investigated and prosecuted. We cannot all leave our jobs and families to march and demonstrate, but if you are on Facebook you have already demonstrated all the necessary skills to write to your local, state and federal representatives. At the very least right a letter demanding that they protect the rights of ALL of the citizens of AMERICA, not just the white ones with penises ( you may want to work on the wording…or not, you decide.).
Take some time to nuture yourselves and your loved ones. Then take heart AND
TAKE ACTION!
-Write your representatives to insist on prosectuion before inaguaration
-March peacefully and demand full disclosure of all documents BEFORE inaguration
-Sit in at your representatives offices
-contintue to teach,preach and live peace
-support those who are struggling around you.
-block all roads into and out of Washington DC and all state capitals (after our representives are at work) with vehicles door to door and bumper to bumper (20 rows deep to prevent easy towing) until we are heard and action is taken to insure that we are NOT Inagurating a criminal
-Use the power of social media to spread the word of love, peace, tolerance and support
The next battle will test our stregnth, our patience and may tempt us to misuse our anger. DO NOT SUCCUMB We have only just begun to see how peace and respect can turn travesty into triumph!
